People who read the book "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" In STEHPEN KING?

Can you tell me what happends in this book, as end THINK? I know Trisha is lost but what happends after that? I think the book really sucks too is one reason i dont want to finish it. simply more easy to install, (ya im lazy, so what?)

Hours and days will soon begin to move with Trisha wander far into the woods. Finally, she begins believe it is heading towards a confrontation with the God of the Lost, a wasp to face the evil entity that is hunting her down. His trial is test the ability of very young daughter to keep in the right direction facing death seemed certain. A prey to pneumonia and death near her grave on a road, but when she discovered signs of civilization, it is confronted by a bear - which she (perhaps rightly) interprets as the God of the Lost in disguise. Given her fear, she realizes that the bottom of the ninth, and it must close the game. In imitation of Tom Gordon, it takes the position of a pitcher and throws his walkman as a baseball, hitting the bear in the face, and striking it enough to reduce. A hunter who is come on the confrontation between daughter and scared the beast away and takes Trish to safety, but Trish knows she has earned her rescue. Postscript ... Then the Red Sox off Tom Gordon, who was eventually replaced by Jonathan Papelbon as their closer. The Yankees picked him up and Tom Gordon set up to Mariano Rivera for a few years. The Yankees let him go because of his lack of consistency on the mound and he is now the closer for the Phillies. Pax -- C Herf BTW - you're right. Not one of King's Best, but it is not very rational when it comes to baseball.

Heche is especially effective as the 9-year-old heroine, Trisha McFarland, who makes a fateful decision during an afternoon hike with her dysfunctional family. "The paths had forked in a 'Y.' She would simply walk across the gap and rejoin the main trail. Piece of cake. There was no chance of getting lost." As one might suspect, there is every chance she'll get lost--or worse--and taking the shortcut turns out to be a very bad choice indeed. At times Heche's reading may be too measured, but her narration is generally quite good and her steady portrayal of a young girl lost renders this tale all the more frightening.
